RESUMEN
Se desarrolla una revisión de la actual discusión teórica respecto de los problemas sociales y ambientales que afectan distintos territorios y al planeta en su totalidad. La atención se dirige al reconocimiento de la estructura de valores implícitos en la lógica de las acciones generadoras de tales problemas. Se reconoce las diversas formas como una estructura de valores y motivaciones propicia el dominio, control y sobreexplotación de los componentes territoriales y ambientales. El análisis destaca la instalación social y cultural de esta  estructura de valores y los conflictos y contradicciones generados por la gestión de los componentes territoriales y recursos naturales.

ABSTRACT
Respect to the social and environmental problems that affect different territories and the planet in its totality, is developed a review of the present theoretical discussion. The attention goes to the recognition of implicit values in the logic of the generating actions of such problems. It is recognized the diverse forms like a structure of values and motivations it causes the dominion, control and overuse of environmental components. The analysis emphasizes the social and cultural installation of this structure of values and the conflicts and contradictions generated by the management of territorial and natural resources.
