RESUMEN

Reflexión originada en una experiencia laboral específica. El autor, centrándose en la temática de la sustentabilidad, expone un artículo de tres partes. Se aborda la sustentabilidad contraponiendo el concepto de biotopo para definir una noción de territorio.  Este concepto en el actual paradigma, marcadamente tecno-económico, conlleva una práctica negativa que se enmarca en lo que el autor define como “los límites de lo posible en Chile”.

Definido el concepto de territorio, se plantea una crítica al modelo neoliberal y sus repercusiones. Estas recaen tanto en el ordenamiento territorial, como en un amplio conjunto de aspectos de la vida contemporánea. Se exploran los orígenes y desarrollo de la práctica / problemática de la economía liberal.

Finalmente, se presenta la traducción del documento “Elogio de las virtudes del Sol” de Roger Bernard. Texto presentado en la década de 1970 como resumen sobre el uso racional del Sol para 490 diputados.

ABSTRACT

Reflection originated in a specific labor experience. The author, being centered in the thematic of the sustainability, exposes a three parts article. The sustainability opposing the biotope concept to define a territory notion is approached.  This concept in the current paradigm, clearly techno-economic, has a negative practice framed in what the author defines as "the limits of what was possible in Chile."

Defined the territory concept, a critic about the neoliberal pattern and its repercussions arises. These fall also in the territorial classification, as in a wide group of aspects of contemporary life. The origins and development of the practice / problematic of the liberal economy are explored.

Finally, show up the translation of the document “Elogio de las virtudes del Sol” by Roger Bernard. Text presented in the decade of 1970 like summary on the rational use of the Sun for 490 deputies.
