RESUMEN

El autor en este artículo realiza una revisión de las profundas transformaciones que sufre la planificación urbana asociada al modelo nacional-desarrollista. Se adentra en la llamada revolución neoliberal, en su ideología y precursores, así como en el desmontaje del Estado Planificador y sus aparatos técnicos y políticos. ¿Es esta radical transformación una de las causantes del actual “estado de malestar” que los ciudadanos tienen con la ciudad de Santiago hoy?

 

ABSTRACT

In this article the author carries out a revision of the deep transformations that suffers the urban planning associated with the national-development model. It goes into neo liberal revolution, in their ideology and precursors, as well as in the Planning State and their technical and political equipments disintegration. Is this radical transformation one of the current causes of the "state of uneasiness" that do the citizens have with the city of Santiago today?
