Resumen
Durante el periodo dictatorial chileno 1973-1990 se produjeron profundas transformaciones en la vida bohemia o nocturnidad de la ciudad de Santiago. De las épocas míticas del espectáculo nocturno capitalino  se pasó a una era de menor intensidad y frecuencia de tales prácticas. Todo ello ocurrió en un marco permanente de vigilancia y represión de los lugares y sujetos que intentaron dar otra faz al período.  La apertura y cierre de locales y su pervivencia como lugares de vida nocturna  tuvieron una especial significación durante los años 80’ como rechazo a la dictadura militar. Pero, con la instauración del periodo democrático, la vida bohemia de la ciudad se reconfiguró bajo el prisma del miedo a la noche o terror nocturno.

Abstract
During the Chilean dictatorial period 1973-1990 deep transformations in the Bohemian life or nocturnal condition of the city of Santiago took place. Of the mythical times of the capital nocturnal spectacle one went to an era of smaller intensity and frequency of such practices. All it happened in a permanent frame of monitoring and repression of the places and subjects that tried to give another face to the period.  The opening and closing of the sites and its pervivencia as places of nocturnal life had a special meaning during years 80' like rejection to the military dictatorship. But, with the restoration of the democratic period, the Bohemian life of the city reshaped under the prism of the fear to the night or nocturnal terror.
