RESUMEN

¿Cuáles han sido, desde los sesenta, los ordenes generales de tematizaciones desarrollados por la actividad de investigación en el campo de la Teoría Arquitectónica? El objeto de estudio son los principales discursos identificables en una selección bibliográfica de las últimas décadas. Se espera reconocer la influencia que la crisis epistemológica de la filosofía y de las ciencias ha tenido sobre los discursos de la disciplina arquitectónica. Se trata de reconocer aquellas obras de crítica, historia y teoría arquitectónica que se adentran en el llamado "pensamiento posmoderno". Se espera comprender cómo las nuevas tendencias presentes en la disciplina arquitectónica, en especial a partir de la crisis del movimiento moderno, se hacen parte de una tendencia general del conocimiento, que cuestiona las raíces mismas de la modernidad.

Estos esfuerzos teóricos se relacionan con la toma de conciencia de algunos teóricos de la arquitectura (Rossi, Aymonino, Tafuri, Venturi, Tschumi, Norberg-Schultz, Eisenman, etc.) que incorporan nuevos conceptos teórico-metodológicos que ponen en cuestión la hegemonía del discurso racional-funcionalista de la arquitectura. Del mismo modo, se espera reconocer las corrientes de pensamiento que sirven de telón de fondo para comprender la crisis disciplinar arquitectónica. A través del análisis de estos discursos se intenta distinguir las principales regiones y sub-regiones temáticas, y advertir sus tendencias y orientaciones tanto conceptuales como metodológicas. La visión a desplegar privilegia aquellas orientaciones innovadoras con respecto a la ortodoxia de la disciplina. Se trata de captar la disciplina en su dinámica de cambio. La hipótesis del proyecto es que el discurso disciplinar arquitectónico presenta una deriva hacia una refundamentación humanista, con una marcada influencia del pensamiento posmoderno, tornándose con ello crecientemente transdisciplinar. En sus tendencias actuales prevalece un cauce hacia los discursos semiológicos y linguísticos, y frecuentemente presenta una orientación metodológica que se aleja de las lógicas objetivistas, penetrando en el análisis hermenéutico y en la tendencia de los llamados estudios culturales. El resultado esperado del proyecto es una sistematización de los principales asuntos y cuestiones que innovan en la estructura de la disciplina arquitectónica, una visualización del "estado del arte" en el campo teórico y la identificación de opciones programáticas de investigación que superen una concepción puramente tópica de la investigación. Desde el estructuralismo lingüístico de los años 60 hasta los estudios culturales de los 90 se esperan identificar los nexos y relaciones posibles con el devenir de la teoría arquitectónica.

ABSTRACT

¿Wich have been the general approaching clasifications developed by the research in the field of Arquitectonic Theory since the sixties? Its main purpose are the investigation of the principal discourses stated in a bibliographic selection of the last decades. The establishment of how epistemologycal crisis of philosophy and science has influenced arquitectonic discipline discourses is expected. It's about the recognition of those works of criticism, history and arquitectonic theory that to go into the so-called “Postmodern Thought”1. Waiting for the understanding of the way the new trends present in the arquitectonic discipline form part of a general trend of knowledge, specially from the modern movement crisis, wich objects the very heart of the modernity.

This theoretical efforts are related to the awareness of some architecture specialists ( Rossi, Aymonino, Tafuri, Venturi, Tschumi, Norberg-Schultz, Eisenman, etc.) incorporating new theoretical-methodologic concepts wich doubt the hegemony of the functionalist-rational Architecture discourse. In this way, it is hoped the recognition of those thinking that appears as backdrop for the understanding of the arquitectonic discipline crisis. Through the analysis of this discourses it is pursued the distinction of the main thematic and sub-thematic areas, and the realization of its trends and guidelines not only conceptuals but methodologic.This viewpoint privileges those innovative directions related to the orthodox aspects of the discipline. It is about understand the dynamics of change of the dicipline.The hypothesis of the project works on the basis that the discourse of arquitectonic discipline is changing into a humanist refoundation, wich is remarkably influenced by the postmodern thinking, becoming with this increasingly transdisciplinary. On the current trends remain a growing direction towards semiological and linguistic discourses, and it shows frecuently a methodologic orientation that moves further away from the objectivist logics, penetrating not only in the hermeneutic analysis but also and in the trend of the so-called cultural studies. Waiting for a sistematization of the main topics wich innovate in the arquitectonic discipline structure and also a visualization of the prior art in the theoretical area and the identification of research programatical options wich exceedes a purely platitude conception of the investigation. Since the linguistic structuralism of the sixties until the cultural studies of the nineties it is hoped the identification of the connections and possible relations with the upcomig arquitectonic theory.
