RESUMEN

El texto revisa  los planteamientos teóricos de seis autores del campo de la arquitectura y el urbanismo, en la perspectiva de su contribución al diseño arquitectónico frente a problemáticas urbanas. Esta selección se enmarca en una investigación que busca solucionar el problema de la integración de las infraestructuras viales dentro de las lógicas de movilidad propias de la ciudad. 

Primeramente se indican las problemáticas asociadas al desplazamiento, su velocidad y segregación espacial producto de esta.  Posteriormente se indican los argumentos a favor y en contra de las autopistas urbanas, específicamente en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile. 

Los autores dan cuenta de una postura desde la cual el diseño arquitectónico puede hacerse cargo de externalidades negativas críticas, para la integración de la autopista a la ciudad. Finalmente se hace una revisión de las teorías y propuestas de Yona Friedman, Constant Nieuwenhuys, Boleslas Malelisz, Fumihiko Maki, Marcel Smets y Rem Koolhaas en la perspectiva de construir una hipótesis proyectual.

ABSTRACT

The text revises the theoretical positions of six authors of the field of the architecture and the urbanism, in the perspective of its contribution to the architectural design in front of urban problematic. This selection is framed in an investigation that looks for to solve the problem of the integration of the road infrastructures inside the logics of mobility characteristic of the city.

Firstly the problems associated to the displacement, their speed and segregation space product of this are indicated.  Later on the arguments to favor and against the urban freeways are indicated, specifically in the city of Santiago Chile.

The authors give an account of a posture whereof the architectural design take charge of critical negative externalities, for the integration of the freeway to the city. Finally it is made a revision of the theories and proposals of Yona Friedman, Constant Nieuwenhuys, Boleslas Malelisz, Fumihiko Maki, Marcel Smets and Rem Koolhaas in the perspective of building a project hypothesis.
