RESUMEN

Reflexión en torno a la expresividad del cuerpo individual y colectivos multitudinarios, como presencia en el espacio público. En el contexto de las manifestaciones ciudadanas realizadas en Chile durante el año 2011. Se examina en especial, como uno de los escenarios de mayor notoriedad lo ocurrido en la ciudad de Santiago.

Se recogen actores, acciones y comportamientos, expresados a partir de estos acontecimientos,  aproximándolos a un campo teórico en el cual la ciudad comparece como símbolo. El territorio urbano es constantemente transformado y tomado por estas actividades de origen ciudadano. Los cuerpos y el cuerpo cobran importancia respecto a nuestras formas de presencia y de apropiación de un espacio público.

El autor se pregunta si nuestra ciudad está preparada para las formas en que actualmente el cuerpo cívico se manifiesta. Bajo este aspecto, alude a la dimensión simbólica de la ciudad confrontándola con sus aspectos funcionales y programáticos.

ABSTRACT

The individual body and crowd collective expressiveness, like presence in public space Reflection. In the context of civic manifestations carried out in Chile during the year 2011. What has happened in Santiago's city, like one of the most important scenarios is especially examined.

From these events, Actors, actions and behaviors expressed are cover, approaching them to a theoretical field in which the city appears as symbol. Urban territory is continuously transformed and taken by these activities of civic origin. The bodies and the body have taken importance regarding our forms of presence and appropriation of a public space.

The author wonders if our city is prepared for the ways civic body is manifested at the moment. From this point of view, mention the symbolic dimension of the city confronting it with their functional and programmatic aspects.
