Resumen
Se realiza una discusión respecto a la producción de la arquitectura y el espacio urbano contemporáneo, dando cuenta de las actuales premisas con que la disciplina se desarrolla. Se discurre desde una proyectualidad basada en lo estético hacia lo ético, reconociendo las dimensiones inclusivas del sujeto y el arquitecto en su cultura, y la creación como acto colectivo.

Finalmente, el autor propone, desde el correlato de la enseñanza, una metodología dirigida a los estudiantes de taller de Diseño Urbano. Se distingue un perfil de arquitecto específico, capaz de gestionar su propio trabajo y con capacidad de vinculación interdisciplinaria. Además, debe ser capaz de trabajar en coordinación con el Estado en las distintas escalas urbanas como son la vivienda, el barrio y la ciudad.

Abstract
It makes a discussion on the production of architecture and contemporary urban space, realizing the current premises discipline develops. It runs from an aesthetic based projectuality to the ethical, recognizing the subject's and the architect inclusive dimensions in their culture, and creation as a collective act.

Finally, the author suggests, from the correlation of education, a methodology aimed at students Urban Design Workshop. It distinguishes a specific architect profile, able to manage their own work, capable of linking interdisciplinary. Also, must be able to work in coordination with the State in different urban scales such as housing, neighborhood and city.
