RESUMEN

Texto que intenta responder, desde unas reflexiones y divagaciones subjetivas, a la pregunta acerca de la existencia de una identidad material de la ciudad de Santiago de Chile. Revisitando lugares literal y metafóricamente comunes, tales divagaciones permitirían señalar, menos unas certezas, que unas aproximaciones respecto de algunos signos cotidianos que hagan visible una eventual respuesta a esa interrogación inicial.

ABSTRACT

The text seek to answer from subjective ramblings and reflections the question about the existence of a material identity of the city of Santiago de Chile. Revisiting literally and metaphorically common places, such ramblings would help to identify approaches regard some everyday signs can make visible a possible answer to the initial question.
